My first market, and it was an experience. I didn’t know what to expect, but it didn’t really matter because the skies opened up, and it was rain-a-geddon with buckets of water hitting Sacramento in full force! I did pretty well, considering there were maybe two dozen brave people who showed up that weekend. I learned a lot and was grateful for a slow market just because I was inexperienced.
We were entertained by delightful singers and dancers – seniors! – and we laughed and sang along because we vendors got to know one another because things were so slow. I would do this again, and I highly recommend the California Auto Museum if you’re into cars. They have some amazing vehicles, and if you’ve grown up around cars, your memories will be triggered (in all the right ways). they often have events at the museum, and at Christmastime, you can get in free with a food donation.
Thank you to Katie and Logan for helping me prep and at the show!
